Is YouTube Pulling an April Fool's Prank on Us?

Is YouTube Pulling an April Fool's Prank on Us?

Hoping to increase my video views at You Tube to an even more obscene figure, I headed over to watch a clip of Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm (my current obsession). Seeing something else of interest in the list of featured videos, I clicked on it only to find the header, the video and all the comments upside down.

Now my first thought was, Oh crap, it's that damn Conflicker worm, I'll bet!. I defused myself of that notion quickly, and figured it had to be just YouTube's way of acknowledging April Fool's Day. Not all the videos are appearing upside down; just some of the featured ones, it appears.

I did a Google search and my suspicions were pretty much confirmed. It seems to be the consensus of everyone who's experienced this topsy turvy occurrence on this internet staple that it's a clever little gag.

I'm not really laughing. Standing on my head in my swivel chair always gives me a damn headache.
