Sahebzade Irrfan Ali Khan (born 7 January 1967), credited as Irrfan Khan or simply Irrfan, is an Indian film actor known for his work mostly in Bollywood. Khan was born in Jaipur, to a Muslim family. He is also known for his works in British Indian films, Hollywood ventures, and Telugu films. Irrfan gained the reputation of a skilled actor from his roles in Bollywood movies such as The Warrior, Maqbool, Haasil, Paan Singh Tomar, Gunday, Rog, and so on. He also hosted the TV show Mano Ya Na Mano and appeared in popular Vodafone commercials. Irrfan Khan movies give blockbuster performances all the time. Khan’s English-language mainstream work includes character roles in movies like The Namesake, New York, Slumdog Millionaire, The Darjeeling Limited, A Mighty Heart, Life of Pi, and so on.

The film was jointly produced by various studios including DAR Motion Pictures, UTV Motion Productions, Sikhya Entertainment, NFDC (India), ROH Films, ASAP Films (France), and the Cine Mosaic (United States). The film was released on 2 March 2012 starring Irrfan, Mahi Gill, and Vipin Sharma. The movie is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and produced by Ronnie Screwvala. It is also one of Irrfan Khan’s best movies and is acclaimed as a super hit at the box office. The film won Best Feature Film and Best Actor at the 60th National Film Awards in 2012. Paan Singh Tomar is really a good movie to watch. This movie achieved critical acclaim among Indian critics.

The movie is based on the 2008 Noida double murder case, in which a teenage girl and her family servant were found murdered, and her parents were convicted for the murders. The movie received 8.6 ratings by IMDb. The story and the performance of Irrfan Khan were really appreciated by the audience as well as by critics.
The trailer intrigued me to study Aayushi Talwar’s case and how media and public opinion influenced the decision-making is SHOCKING. We as a society are very judgemental and to fight this we have a long way to go. I feel this is an issue that we need to talk about! It was a brilliant adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, with Mumbai’s underworld as its backdrop. Maqbool is the right-hand man of Jahangir Khan, a powerful underworld Don.
