First thing first, it’s “chhichhore”, not a sequel to “3 idiots” or “student of the year” so please don’t compare it with those movies, it’s a gem, a very unique movie in its own way. An inspirational & emotional journey that teaches you to never give up. All the characters in this movie are brilliant. Most of our Bollywood movies are led on the shoulders of the protagonist, whom we refer to as the “hero” of the movie, but ‘Chhichhore’ breaks the norm.
You can’t call this a Sushant Singh Rajput film or a Shraddha Kapoor film. It’s equally a Tahir Raj Bhasin film, it’s equally a Varun Sharma film and likewise for the rest of the cast. Every actor has been given proper screen space and they have mastered that one particular character to the best. Chhichhore is a book full of values, lessons of life, and the meaning of failure.
This movie also shows that failures are the stepping stones to success and as the character of Sushant Singh Rajput (Annirudh Pathak aka Anni) says, ” Tumhara result decide nahi Karta ki tum loser ho ki nahi, tumhari koshish decide karti hain” (Your results won’t decide if you are a loser or not, your effort does that). This movie will take you back to your college days where you would have spent some wonderful times with friends. The movie beautifully captures the highs and lows of college life and rekindles many memories.
